Dr. Leah Shanfeld, O.D. is a licensed optometrist providing comprehensive eye care at New York Laser Group. She has extensive experience in cataract surgery and refractive surgery management, including LASIK. She also works with contact lenses and enjoys examining children. After receiving a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario, Dr. Shanfeld completed her Doctor of Optometry degree at The New England College of Optometry in Boston. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and New York State Optometric Association. Dr. Shanfeld grew up in Canada and now lives on Long Island with her husband and three children.
