Dr. Harry Boparai provides general vision care, with subspecialty interest in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Chemistry at Wayne State University in 1998 and, after completing his Doctorate of Optometry degree at SUNY College of Optometry in 2002, he conducted research in the area of glaucoma. He was instrumental in a landmark discovery on the peripheral visual field changes of glaucoma that may be the first clinical signs of this disease.
Dr. Boparai, a licensed optometrist, currently serves as NY Laser Group’s Advanced Refractive Correction Clinic Director. Dr. Boparai is a member of the New York State Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry and is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi and Spanish. He has been in private practice for over 5 years and resides with his wife and daughter in downtown Manhattan.
