Anna Terrarosa, MD

Cosmetic and Reconstructive Oculoplastic Surgeon

Dr. Anna Terrarosa is a highly trained ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastics and reconstructive surgery. She recently completed a two-year fellowship in Oculoplastics at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center under the mentorship of Dr. Susan Tonya Stefko. Dr. Terrarosa previously completed her ophthalmology residency at New York University Grossman School of Medicine, where she also served as the Ophthalmology Department Representative for the NYU House Staff Patient Safety Council.

Dr. Terrarosa earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, graduating in the top quartile of her class. She began her medical training in the coordinated B.A.-M.D. program at Brooklyn College/SUNY Downstate, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Psychology.

Dr. Terrarosa has made significant contributions to ophthalmic research, authoring numerous peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Oculoplastics and Orbit. She has presented her work at esteemed national and international conferences, including the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Scientific Symposium. Her research focuses on innovative surgical approaches, such as transorbital routes to the skull base, and the effects of teprotumumab in thyroid eye disease.
