Meet Dr. Marc Werner: Expert Training and Experience
Dr. Werner earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1989 and completed his undergraduate studies at Brown University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He became board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1994 and has maintained his certification since then.
His specialized training includes a fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery with Dr. Albert Hornblass and a fellowship in Neuro-ophthalmology, Orbital and Oculoplastic Surgery at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Werner completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago and his internal medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital.
Dr. Werner has been performing LASIK procedures since 1998, giving him more than 25 years of experience helping patients achieve clearer vision. He previously practiced at Stahl Eyecare Experts and now joins NY Vision Group to provide exceptional refractive surgery care to patients in Tribeca and throughout Manhattan.

Dr. Werner will be available for refractive surgery consultations and procedures on Wednesdays at our Tribeca location. His schedule provides flexible options for patients throughout the month.
First, third, fourth, and fifth Wednesdays: 9:00 AM to 4:45 PM. Second Wednesdays: 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
